about me

human-computer interaction (HCI) researcher @ UCL Knowledge Lab, UCL Institute of Education

My research interests span the areas of user-centred design, child-computer interaction, ed-tech and children’s programming. My research focuses on education technology design for children and I have worked on several projects using design approaches such as participatory design and design-based research. I am particularly particularly interested in exploring different ways to support the involvement of neurodiverse children, such as those with autism and dyslexia, in the technology design process.

I can be contacted via email at l[.]benton[@]ucl[.]ac[.]uk or follow me on twitter – @ljbenton. I also have copies of my papers on ResearchGate.
